Most referrals into WE:ARE come from Birmingham Children’s Trust, NHS, Healthy Minds, GP’s, the police, plus housing associations, HMO’s and other domestic abuse agencies. However, we do not receive any funding for our services apart from through the funding bids we write ourselves.
From the phone calls we receive daily from frontline staff, we hear about the challenges you face in meeting the needs of the women and children you support.
Our work provides excellent value for money, delivering committed, women-centred services. We have the passion, dedication, and experience to support your needs with the programmes we deliver and the activities that compliment them.
Our pathway includes:
- 11-week Freedom Programme
- 12-week Own My Life Programme
- 6-week Healing Together Programme
- 10-week You & Me, Mum Programme
- 8-week Mindfulness Programme
Activities that complement the programmes include:
- Collaborative Communicators Project
- Mindfulness Drop-in
- Art Group
- Book Club
The ‘experience’ we provide has been accessed across the whole of the city over the last 19 years and even more so during lockdown as we adapted our programmes on zoom from the very start.
If you think we could help you in your work, we welcome the opportunity to discuss what we do and how we can meet your needs. To commission any of our services, or seek further information, please contact our Project Co-ordinator firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are a woman currently taking part in our programmes and activities, please be assured that we are continually writing and submitting funding bids to continue for at least another 19 years.
